Zodiac is a circular belt (Infinite Circle) and all the planets and stars seem to be moving in this belt. None of the star or planet is not beyond this belt.
When zodiac is divided into twenty-seven equal parts, each part is called a Nakshatra. And each Nakshtra comprises of 13 Degree and 20 min. As each Sign(Rashi) is govern by a planet described above in the table, each nakshtra as well governs by a planet.
